Yup, you read that right, it’s official.
Four times James Bond actor, Daniel Craig, has turned down huge offers to return as the iconic super spy. Reportedly, Craig was offered a whopping £68 million with other incentives to star in two more movies but he turned it all down. Craig has played the role of James Bond in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and last year, Spectre.
Now that Criag is out, the buzz is on about who next would step into the spy’s tuxedo. Word is Tom Hiddleston (The Night Manager, Avengers) and Idris Elba (Beasts of No Nation, Pacific Rim) are front runners for the role.

Personally, I still wish Henry Cavill can play 007 (Cavill was the second runner up when Craig was selected) but it seems highly unlikely. Now playing the Man of Steel in the DCU (DCCU?) and an old school spy in Guy Ritchie’s The Man from U.N.C.L.E, it’ll be extremely difficult to add the 007 role to his ginormous schedule.
