Finally, Captain America: Civil War has become the highest grossing movie of 2016. For some days now, Civil War has been trailing behind Disney‘s other outing, Zootopia($974.2 million) but now, it has surpassed the animated film with a worldwide total of $981.9 million ($310.5 million in North America and $671.4 million overseas), very close to breaking the $1 billion mark soon.
Captain America: Civil War is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, and stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Tom Holland, Frank Grillo, William Hurt and Daniel Brühl. It was released on May 6, 2016.
My review would be coming very soon so stay tuned and “keep both eyes open”(Nick Fury[Samuel L. Jackson] in Captain America: The Winter Soldier).
