It’s fair to say that Daredevil has impressed a lot of telly fans, offering a small screen superhero show that didn’t shy away from the darker stuff, via online streaming service Netflix.
While you may have binged all the episodes already, the Marvel and Netflix party is far from over. There are three more collaborative shows on the way, leading up to the fourth – a Defenders mini-series.
The next of these shows is AKA Jessica Jones – expected late this year – starring Krysten Ritter as the eponymous Jessica Jones, a former superhero turned detective. Here’s our first look at her on set in New York, featuring Mike Colter as well (who plays the superheroic Luke Cage, AKA Power Man, who is also set to get his own show eventually)…
Villain duties will be taken by former Doctor Who star David Tennant, as a nasty chap by the name of Purple Man. We got our first look at him on set today, too. Here it is…
