Lionsgate has revealed the UK trailer for the satiric sci-fi comedy Absolutely Anything, starring Simon Pegg and featuring the final voice role of Robin Williams as Dennis the dog. Check it out below!
Directed by Monty Python alum Terry Jones, Absolutely Anything follows a disillusioned school teacher (Pegg) who suddenly finds he has the ability to do anything he wishes, a challenge bestowed upon him by a group of power-crazed aliens, watching him from space. As he struggles to deal with these new found powers and the events that subsequently arise, he calls upon his loyal canine companion Dennis (voiced by Robin Williams) to help him along the way. Mishap after mishap finally leads him to the ultimate conundrum that all men dread and at which many have failed….should he choose the girl….or the dog….?
Voicing the aliens will be Jones and his Monty Python cohorts John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, and Michael Palin. Kate Beckinsale, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Eddie Izzard, Joanna Lumley and Rob Riggle round out the cast of Absolutely Anything, which will be released in the UK on August 14, 2015. No U.S. release date has been set.
